AKIPRESS.COM - Ex-Director of Bishkek Free Economic Zone Kudret Taichabarov has been appointed Tourism Development Fund President.

This information was confirmed in the Tourism Development Fund.

The Minsitry of Economy and Commerce is the only founder of the Fund.

Previous President Abylkasym Sherniyazov has been in office since July 2023.

First President of Tourism Development fund Elena Kalashnikova was relieved of this role after launch of investigation by the State National Security Committee into construction of tourism facilities at overstated cost.
