Kyrgyzstan defeats China's Taipei 5:1 in qualifier for FIFA World Cup 2026

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan defeated China's Taipei in the match of the qualifying round for FIFA 2026 World Cup in Bishkek on March 26.

In the first half, striker Cojo Joel scored 3 goals. In the second half, Khristiyan Brauzman and Kimi Merk scored for the Kyrgyz national team, but the opponent was able to score a prestige goal from the penalty spot.

The Kyrgyz team won with a score 5:1 and gained 9 points after four rounds.

The matches of the round 5 of the qualifiers will be played on June 6. Kyrgyzstan will play with Malaysia.
