AKIPRESS.COM - The "City of Wind", a feature film by director Lkhagvadulam Purev-Ochir, is screening in France from April 24 under the title "Un Jeune Chaman" or "Young Shaman". After its premiere in France, the film is scheduled for release in international cinemas.

The film premiered in the Orizzonti section of the Venice International Film Festival, and then went on to have its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film was then screened at the Busan International Film Festival.

The "City of Wind" received "Best Film" accolade at the 19th Osaka Asian International Film Festival, accompanied by B. Tergel's recognition for "Best New Talent" in his portrayal of the protagonist.

Brussels-based Best Friend Forever acquired international rights to "City of Wind" last May.
