AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan has created the Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Development Committee under the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry. The corresponding decree was signed by the government.

The new Committee will be responsible for the execution of state policy on artificial intelligence, as well as the coordination of efforts across different sectors in this sphere. The document notes that the Committee will play a key role in development and implementation of draft legislation concerning AI technologies.

In addition, the government has made a decision to dissolve the Committee of Geodesy and Cartography under the Ministry of Digital Development.
