AKIPRESS.COM - The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan passed the draft law on halal industry in the third reading.

The draft law is aimed to create a uniform legal framework for regulating relations related to the production of halal products and the provision of services in the Kyrgyz Republic, to designate authorized bodies for development and implementation of state policy in the field of halal industry, to consolidate principles and requirements for products and services produced in accordance with the halal standard, to create and maintain a register of manufacturers of halal products, organizations providing these services, as well as carrying out labeling and monitoring activities in the halal industry.
