AKIPRESS.COM - The official opening of Uzbekistan Cinema Days  in Kyrgyzstan took place at the Rossiya movie theater in Bishkek on May 15, the Ministry of Culture reported.

The event was attended by Director of the Cinematography Department Akzhol Bekbolotov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Khurshid Mirzakhidov, a delegation from Uzbekistan, cultural figures of the two countries, representatives of the diaspora and the general public.

The Ambassador noted that such events play an important role in strengthening Kyrgyz-Uzbek friendly relations and cooperation in the field of cinema.

The film “Abdillo Oripov” directed by M. Erkinov was screened. 

The films “Fortitude” directed by R. Malikov and “The Uzbek woman” directed by A. Bekturdiev will be screened today.
