
AKIPRESS.COM - The delegation of the Prosecutor General's Office of Uzbekistan, led by Prosecutor General Nigmatilla Yuldoshev, paid a working visit to Dushanbe to attend the 5th meeting of the Prosecutors General of the ECO member states at the invitation of Prosecutor General of Tajikistan Yusuf Rahmon, UzA reports.
The heads of delegations met with the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.
The head of state stressed the importance of regular meetings between supervisory authorities to exchange experiences and develop multifaceted cooperation.
The delegation members exchanged experiences on the priority areas of the Prosecutor's office activities, such as protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and business entities and fighting corruption and other types of organized crime.
Prosecutor General Nigmatilla Yuldoshev delivered a speech about the experience of the Prosecutor's Office of Uzbekistan in protecting the rights of entrepreneurs and investors.
The participants stressed the need to join efforts in the fight against crime, including expanding and deepening multifaceted cooperation between the competent authorities of the ECO member states.
