AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin on May 19 met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Wang Yi, who is in Tajikistan on an official visit, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reports.

The sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, regional security issues, the state and prospects of bilateral interaction, as well as preparations for the upcoming state visit of President of China Xi Jinping to Tajikistan.

The Ministers also exchanged views on topical regional and international issues, cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations, in particular the UN, the SCO, as well as within the Central Asia + China format.

The sides agreed to further strengthen cooperation in political, economic and investment, transport, agricultural and healthcare spheres.

The Program of Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and China for 2025-2026 was signed.
