AKIPRESS.COM - Russia and Uzbekistan plan to conclude an agreement on a rearmament program, said the head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) of Russia Dmitry Shugayev in an interview with Channel One.
"Conclusion of an agreement on a rearmament program is on agenda. This will undoubtedly affect the Air Force, Air Defense, and ground forces equipment. This is a fairly wide range. We will discuss, develop further, and help our colleagues," FSMTC Director Dmitry Shugayev said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier extended his visit to Tashkent to three days. This is Vladimir Putin’s first three-day visit to a foreign country since the pandemic, Kun.uz reported.
