Veterinary Service foils illegal import of 80 tons of beef fat from Kazakhstan
AKIPRESS.COM - Veterinary inspectors disclosed illegal import of 80,000 kg of beef fat from Kazakhstan at Ak-Tilek border crossing point, the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
The beef fat was imported in violation of veterinary and sanitary requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union, lacked packaging and marking of technical regulations and as such was sent back to Kazakhstan.
