Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia discuss interparliamentary relations

AKIPRESS.COM - Chairperson of the Senate of the Parliament of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva met with a delegation led by Chairman of the Uzbekistan – Saudi Arabia Interparliamentary Friendship Group Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Jarba, UzA reported.

The sides noted that relations between the countries are gradually expanding due to the political will of the leaders of Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.

Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Jarba appreciated the attention paid to the development of Islamic culture and enlightenment in Uzbekistan.

The parties focused on issues of further development of interparliamentary relations to strengthen bilateral ties.

Views were exchanged on effectively using the capabilities of parliamentary friendship groups, intensifying their cooperation, and enriching their work with practical results.

An agreement was reached to develop and sign a corresponding document that aims to elevate inter-parliamentary cooperation to a new level.
