
AKIPRESS.COM - At the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh, the Director-General of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Dr. Qu Dongyu, will pay an official visit to Mongolia on July 10-12, Montsame reported.
This will be Dr. Qu Dongyu's first visit to Mongolia since assuming the role of Director-General of the FAO, which is aimed at strengthening cooperation in the food and agriculture sector. During the visit, the Director-General will meet the President, the Prime Minister, as well as some ministers, to discuss enhancing cooperation between Mongolia and FAO in creating a resilient, sustainable food and agriculture system capable of overcoming risks.
