AKIPRESS.COM - Life expectancy has exceeded 75 years in Kazakhstan, Minister of Health Akmaral Alnazarova said at a meeting with President Kassym-Joomart Tokayev.
Morbidity rates for 21 infections, including COVID-19, have been reduced since the beginning of the year, the Minister noted.
According to Alnazarova, new medical facilities will be built as part of the strategic plan for the development of healthcare infrastructure for 2025-2030.
In turn, Tokayev ordered to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates and set tasks for reorganizing the healthcare system with an emphasis on patient-oriented medical care. He also noted the need to ensure transparency and efficiency of allocated funds, including for drug provision.
