President of Switzerland to visit Mongolia in August
AKIPRESS.COM - President of the Swiss Confederation Viola Amherd will pay a visit to Mongolia on August 2-4, Montsame reports.
The visit will take place as part of the 60th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Switzerland. This is the first state visit by a Swiss head of state to Mongolia.
The heads of state of the two countries will discuss strengthening and expanding bilateral relations and cooperation. The parties will sign documents aimed at strengthening relations between the two countries and expanding and deepening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Mongolia and Switzerland established diplomatic relations on May 22, 1964.
