President of Switzerland arrives in Mongolia
AKIPRESS.COM - President of Switzerland Viola Amherd arrived in Mongolia on August 2, the Foreign Ministry of Mongolia reported.
Foreign Minister of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Mongolia Juerg Burri, and other officials greeted President Viola Amherd and the Swiss delegation at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport of Mongolia.
The visit is the first state visit by a Swiss head of state to Mongolia.
Mongolia and the Swiss Confederation established diplomatic relations on May 22, 1964, and the two countries have friendly relations and cooperation.
