AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin held a meeting with Global Director for the World Bank Group's Climate Change Global Practice Jennifer Sara on the margins of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly on September 25, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.

The sides discussed preparations for the upcoming International Conference Dedicated to Glaciers' Preservation to be held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, in May 2025.

They agreed to collaborate on content preparation, with the World Bank joining efforts alongside the government of Tajikistan, the World Meteorological Organization and UNESCO.
