Strengthening joint work in the economic area of cooperation was designated as a priority.
Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and the CIS countries has grown by 16% since the beginning of the year.
It was proposed to hold a meeting of the CIS Economic Council and the Innovative Development Forum in the spring of next year within the framework of the International Industrial Exhibition "Innoprom" in Tashkent.
Considering the results of the recent Tashkent Conference of Leading Analytical Centers of the CIS countries, the importance of supporting new priorities of long-term partnership was emphasized. This includes, among other things, the development of Internet technologies and the big data industry, the accelerated implementation of digital solutions, the creative economy, green energy and nuclear technologies, and climate challenges.
It was proposed to make meetings of experts and analysts from the CIS countries regular and to hold the next conference in Samarkand, devoting it to the development of artificial intelligence.
The CIS Culture Days were proposed to expand humanitarian exchanges. In addition, the need to prepare an annual program of joint events in healthcare, education, art, cinema, tourism, and sports was emphasized.
In addition, open CIS chess and football cups among youth teams will be held in Uzbekistan.
Following the summit, several agreements and decisions were adopted on priority areas of cooperation within the CIS.
