Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan and Ambassador of France consider bilateral relations

AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and Ambassador of France to Turkmenistan Philippe Merlin held a meeting on October 30, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reported.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the state of bilateral relations. They emphasized the consistent nature of relations, affecting political and diplomatic, trade and economic partnership and cultural and humanitarian sphere.

The positive experience of interaction between the two countries on international platforms was also discussed.

The diplomats considered issues of expanding trade and economic cooperation in such areas as energy, logistics, construction, agriculture and "green" technologies.

The parties also noted effective cooperation in the field of speleology, archeology and the study of the French language.

At the end of the meeting, the interlocutors emphasized their mutual readiness to further expand bilateral cooperation.
