AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov met with Minister of State at Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom Stephen Doughty in the videoconference format on October 31, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reported.

A wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian areas, as well as regional and international agenda were discussed during the meeting.

The social sphere was named as an important component of interstate relations. The diplomats confirmed positive interaction in the field of culture and education, in particular, in the sphere of learning English in Turkmenistan.
