
AKIPRESS.COM - Member of the Parliament and Chair of the Mongolia-Italy Parliamentary Group Undraa Agvaanluvsan and Deputy Chair of the Mongolia-Italy Parliamentary Group Purevdavaa Davaakhuu met with the Italian delegation headed by Member of the Chamber of Deputies Nicola Carè on October 31, Montsame reported.
At the meeting, Nicola Carè expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet during the ongoing budget discussions for the upcoming year, and as the Chair of the Italy-Mongolia Parliamentary Group, he highlighted initiatives to expand interparliamentary cooperation in various forms.
MP Undraa Agvaanluvsan expressed confidence that the Mongolia-Italy Parliamentary Group would lead the way in expanding relations between the legislative bodies of the two countries with new content.
Undraa Agvaanluvsan underscored that despite the geographical distance, the two countries share common values of human rights and democracy and mentioned the mutually beneficial possibilities in the economic and business sectors. She also expressed intention to cooperate in numerous areas, including science, agriculture, urban planning, and construction.
Member of the Chamber of Deputies of Italy Nicola Carè underlined the growing business and economic cooperation between the two countries, particularly noting the increase in the export of cashmere and cashmere products.
Additionally, the two sides exchanged views on best practices for reducing air pollution and agreed on further collaboration to foster sustainable development by adopting green housing and green housing standards.
