Mongolia and Huawei to cooperate in smart mining transport

AKIPRESS.COM - The Mongolian government will cooperate with Huawei to explore the company's new technological experience, build a smart city, and train young professionals in the field of digital energy and technology.

The government is making three transitions using technological development as part of the New Revival Policy. These are the usage of artificial intelligence-based digital and smart technologies as a development accelerator, a green development transition, and a human resources transition.

The two parties established a joint working group to cooperate in the areas of the 5G system, smart mining transport, smart traffic, and green energy. The working group is headed by the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Communications Baatarkhuu Tsend.

Huawei has been operating in Mongolia since 2006.
