AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin and European Union Special Representative for Central Asia Terhi Hakala held a meeting on the sidelines of the High-Level Conference on Strengthening International Counter-Terrorism Cooperation and Building Agile Border Security Mechanisms in Kuwait on November 5, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the expansion of bilateral political, trade, economic and security cooperation, as well as the implementation of relevant European Union projects.

The sides also exchanged views on security risks and challenges, strengthening regional cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.
