AKIPRESS.COM - An event on occasion of the Days of History and Memory of Ancestors was held in Moskovsky district of Chui region.

The event took place at the central mosque of Belovodskoye village. It was attended by first deputy head of the district Ulan Sadaliev, heads of village administrations, and locals.

They laid flowers at the memorial plaque to 517 people killed during Urkun in 1916 (also known as the Central Asian revolt of 1916).
