AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova and Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) Kaha Imnadze held a meeting on November 20, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reported.

The parties considered the issues of current cooperation and various directions of further interaction between Turkmenistan and the Regional Centre.

They also exchanged views on the implementation of the goals outlined in Turkmenistan's priority positions at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

The importance of a comprehensive approach to key issues on the global agenda and Turkmenistan's contribution to their solution was emphasized.
