AKIPRESS.COM - A delegation from Türkiye led by Chairman of the United Industrial Zone Ostim Orhan Aydin paid a visit to Uzbekistan, UzA reported.

The Uzbekistan – Türkiye Business Forum was held, which was attended by heads of ministries and agencies, industry associations of the two countries, representatives of more than 200 large manufacturing companies, and experts.

The parties discussed the prospects for developing cooperation in the industrial sector.

Ambassador of Türkiye to Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar, Deputy Head of Tashkent region Najmiddinkhoja Sharipov, and others noted the creation of an Uzbekistan – Türkiye Industrial Zone in Tashkent on 100 hectares and the implementation of a joint investment project worth $1.2 billion.

Representatives of business circles showed interest in the projects. It was noted that it is planned to develop the necessary conditions for attracting almost 1000 Turkish companies.

After the B2B meetings, the delegation visited the Uzbekistan – Türkiye Industrial Park.
