AKIPRESS.COM - The 2024 World Boxing Cup Finals took place in Sheffield, United Kingdom, where Mongolian athletes won one gold, one silver, and one bronze medals, Montsame reported.

Mongolia was represented by five male and four female boxers.

International Master of Sports Battulga Aldarkhishig won gold in the men's 51 kg category. Enkhtur Tegshjargal clinched a bronze medal in the 63.5 kg category. Among the female boxers, Yesugen Oyuntsetseg, a bronze medalist at the Asian Amateur Boxing Championships and the Asian Games, claimed silver in the 54 kg division.
