Mongolia's Central Bank purchases 1.6 tons of precious metals in November

AKIPRESS.COM - The Central Bank of Mongolia purchased 1,689.5 kg of precious metals in November 2024, bringing the total amount to 15.8 tons since the beginning of the year.

This number has decreased by 1.6% compared to last year.

The Darkhan-Uul branch of the Central Bank of Mongolia has purchased 753.4 kg of precious metals, whereas the Bayankhongor branch 1,177.2 kg.

The Central Bank of Mongolia determines the purchase price of precious metals based on global market prices. The average price for purchasing gold was 291,101.68 tugriks in November 2024.
