Kyrgyz boxer Munarbek Seiitbek uulu awarded $50,000 for 2nd place in Paris Games

AKIPRESS.COM - Boxer from Kyrgyzstan Munarbek Seiitbek uulu was awarded $50,000 for the second place at the Olympic Games in Paris.

At the tournament in France, he won silver medal in weight category up to 57 kg.

The International Boxing Association earlier told additional funds will be awarded to the winners of the Olympics. The IBA press service reported that the silver medalist will receive $25,000, and another $25,000 will be shared evenly between the coach and the national federation.

On December 8, the IBA Forum was held in Dubai (UAE), where the winners of the Paris Games were awarded with monetary certificates.

Seiitbek uulu received 10 million soms and a car Kia EV 9 from the government.
