AKIPRESS.COM - International Master of Sports Achbadrakh Batmunkh secured first place in the men's 15-kilometer classic skiing race at the 79th Korea National Championship for Cross-Country Skiing, held at the Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium, Montsame reported.
Achbadrakh Batmunkh won the 30-kilometer skating race, completing the course in 1 hour, 19 minutes, and 5 seconds on January 8. This performance earned him a second gold medal, making him the first Mongolian athlete to win double gold at the Korea National Championship.
Achbadrakh is now gearing up for the 9th Asian Winter Games, scheduled to take place in Harbin, China. The 79th Korea National Championship serves as a key preparatory event for the 9th Asian Winter Games.
