"Blue Pearl" Ice Festival to take place in Mongolia

AKIPRESS.COM - The "Blue Pearl-2025" Ice Festival will take place on February 13-23 in Khuvsgul province, Montsame reported.

The Ice Festival is traditionally held on March 2-3 each year. But this year, the Ministry of Culture, Sport, Tourism, and Youth of Mongolia rescheduled the date to February 13-23, 2025, as the Festival coincides with Tsagaan Sar, the traditional Mongol Lunar New Year.

Last winter, the "Blue Pearl-2024" Ice Festival attracted more than 20,000 visitors. The Kirva Anka music band from Ecuador performed at the festival. The festival welcomed over 270 guests and representatives from eight countries, including Japan, South Korea, Germany, and the United States. Notably, a delegation from Daejeon, South Korea, and a team from Korean KSBN television also participated in the "Blue Pearl" Ice Festival.
