AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh will pay an official visit to Oman on February 18-20 at the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman Sayyid Badr Bin Hamad Bin Hamud Al-Busaidi, GoGo reported.

This visit follows the Foreign Minister of Oman's visit to Mongolia last year and marks the first visit at the foreign ministerial level in nearly 30 years.

During her visit, Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh will hold official talks and meet with Oman's Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, as well as the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Investment Promotion, and the leadership of the Oman Investment Authority.

The sides will consider strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, mining, energy, and tourism, while also addressing international and regional issues of mutual interest.

Mongolia and Oman established diplomatic relations on April 27, 1992.
