
AKIPRESS.COM - Chairman of the Parliament of Mongolia Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve met with Chairman of the Political Consultative Conference of China Wang Huning on February 26, Montsame reported.
At the meeting, Chairman of the Political Consultative Conference Wang Huning noted that China places great importance on the deepening relations and cooperation between the two countries and expressed commitment to realizing decisions agreed during high-level visits which would benefit the peoples of the two countries.
Chairman of the Mongolian Parliament Amarbayasgalan informed Wang Huning of characteristics, ideology, and objectives of the Parliament and highlighted the implementation of the "Three Perfections" Policy within the framework of legal and regulatory reforms. He also emphasized the importance of aligning the two countries' development policies and planning, noting that incorporating Mongolia-China joint mega projects and objectives into China's 15th Five-Year Plan for socio-economic development, which will be approved and implemented next year, would create the necessary legal framework for turning high-level agreements into reality and further boost bilateral cooperation.
Chairman Wang Huning emphasized that China is expanding its openness policy in its relations with foreign countries and underscored its commitment to sharing the benefits of development with neighboring countries, particularly Mongolia. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views and reached a consensus on accelerating the development of the Bulgan-Takashiken border port and expanding cooperation in advanced technology, renewable energy, agriculture, and livestock sectors.
