AKIPRESS.COM - First Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Slovakia with residence in Vienna Bakhtiyor Ibragimov presented his credentials to President of Slovakia Peter Pellegrini. The ceremony took place at the Grassalkovich Palace in Bratislava, UzA reported.

During the meeting after the ceremony, the parties discussed the current relations between Uzbekistan and Slovakia and the prospects for their further development. 

The sides noted that bilateral cooperation has reached a new qualitative level in recent years. Several significant events are planned in 2025 in the political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Bakhtiyor Ibragimov is accredited as the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Austria, Albania, and Slovakia.
