AKIPRESS.COM - 5,000 people dressed in Kazakh national clothing gathered in Aktau on March 22, the day of celebrating Nauryz, setting a new Guinness World Record in the category 'Largest number of people in Kazakh national clothes'.

The event 'Best Fest Nauryz' brought together more than 5,500 participants, including representatives from various professions, ethnic groups, the older generation, as well as residents from remote villages and other regions of the country. Their participation contributed to the promotion of Kazakh culture on the global stage.

The record-setting ceremony took place on the shore of the Caspian Sea. Counting the participants took several hours, and the process was monitored by official representatives of the Guinness World Records from the United Kingdom. After the verification, the new world record was confirmed, and Kazakhstan officially received the record. A special certificate was presented to the event organizers.
