AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held an informal meeting with President of the European Council António Costa, Uza reported.

The high-level EU representative arrived in Uzbekistan on April 2 and visited the city of Bukhara, where he became acquainted with the country's cultural and historical heritage.

Views were exchanged on pressing issues on the bilateral and regional agenda.

Preparations for the upcoming first summit in the "Central Asia – European Union" format were discussed.
