AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Cyprus (with residence in Rome) T. Komekov presented credentials to President of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides in the Presidential Palace in Nicosia on March 31, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reported.

The President of Cyprus conveyed greetings to the President of Turkmenistan and expressed best wishes to the Turkmen people. The leader of Cyprus noted the important contribution of Turkmenistan's positive neutrality policy in promoting peace, stability and security at the regional and international levels.

Ambassador T. Komekov conveyed greetings and best wishes on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan to the President of Cyprus. The sides expressed interest in developing friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Cyprus in the fields of mutual interest.

The Ambassador also conveyed an invitation letter on behalf of Chairman of the People's Assembly of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to participate in the International Forum of Peace and Trust, which will be held on December 12, 2025.
