AKIPRESS.COM - Mayor of Tashkent Shavkat Umurzakov met with Chairman of the Board of Directors of Demirören Holding Yildirim Demirören, UzA reported.

The parties discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation in construction, energy, hotel business, and urban infrastructure management. Shavkat Umurzakov noted that favorable conditions have been created for foreign investors in Tashkent.

The issues of the development of the Yangi Avlod Special Economic Zone and Yangihayot Industrial Park, as well as the growing interest of international brands in Tashkent's tourism and hotel market, were considered.

The Demirören Holding's leadership highly appreciated the changes in Uzbekistan and expressed interest in implementing joint projects.

The parties agreed to continue the dialogue and work out promising areas of cooperation.
