AKIPRESS.COM - Over 8,300 Kyrgyz citizens have been employed through the employment service since the beginning of the year.

In total, 39,260 people applied to the employment services. 28,282 of them received consultations on labor legislation, the possibility of vocational training and retraining, and employment.

4,285 unemployed citizens were employed. Of the 8,593 applications submitted, 4,285 positions were closed.

In order to increase the competitiveness of the unemployed in the labor market, 2,164 people were sent for vocational training.

As part of temporary employment, 1,857 people were sent to paid public works.

The average salary in the financial sector amounted to 68,725 soms, in industry sector to 61,550 soms, in transport sector to 48,034 soms, in trade sector to 46,437 soms, in construction sector to 45,277 soms, in services sector to 29,922 soms, in healthcare and social services to 26,013 soms, and in education sector to 25,555 soms.
