President Japarov expresses condolences to Cardinal Kevin Farrell on death of Pope Francis

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov sent a telegram of condolences to Cardinal Kevin Farrell following the death of Pope Francis.

"I was deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis. On behalf of the people of the Kyrgyz Republic and myself personally, I express my sincere condolences to you, the Holy See, and all Catholics, and share in your sorrow. I warmly remember my meeting with His Holiness Pope Francis in the Vatican on October 4, 2024. His Holiness Pope Francis made a significant contribution to the promotion of humanism, tolerance, forgiveness, mercy and mutual understanding between nations leaving an indelible mark on world history," the telegram from the head of state reads.
