On behalf of the people of the Kyrgyz Republic and myself personally, I express my sincere condolences to you, the Holy See, and all Catholics, and share in your sorrow. I warmly remember my meeting with His Holiness Pope Francis in the Vatican on October 4, 2024. His Holiness Pope Francis made a significant contribution to the promotion of humanism, tolerance, forgiveness, mercy and mutual understanding between nations leaving an indelible mark on world history," the telegram from the head of state reads.
