Trump declares May 8 Victory Day in WW II

AKIPRESS.COM - US President Donald Trump has declared May 8 as Victory Day in World War II.

"Many of our allies and friends celebrate May 8th as Victory Day, but we did more than any other country, by far, to achieve victory in World War II. I am renaming May 8 as Victory Day in World War II and November 11 as Victory Day in World War I.

"We won both wars, no one could match us in strength, courage or military genius, but we never celebrate anything - because we no longer have leaders who know how to do it!" Trump wrote on the Truth Social social network.
