8 students from Kyrgyzstan win medals at Al-Khwarizmi International Mathematics and Informatics Olympiad in Tashkent

AKIPRESS.COM - The 3rd Al-Khwarizmi International Mathematics and Informatics Olympiad was held in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) from May 7 to 13.

205 students from 9 countries took part in this Olympiad: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.

The national team of Kyrgyzstan won 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze metals in Informatics and gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze in mathematics.
