Tourism Training Center to open in Ulaanbaatar

AKIPRESS.COM - The opening ceremony of the Tourism Training Center, built in the Artsatyn Am area of Khan-Uul district in Ulaanbaatar with grant aid from the government of the Republic of Korea, was held on May 29, Montsame reported.

The center covers an area of 2,739 square meters. It has a 250-seat lecture hall, six classrooms accommodating 10-30 people each, and fully equipped facilities for culinary production and chef-training courses. The center will cooperate with international training institutions to prepare trained human resources for the tourism sectors. It is designed to enroll 850-2,600 trainees annually.

The center will provide courses on passenger transport, tour guiding, hospitality, waiting staff skills, restaurant and catering services, tourism management, camp-chef skills, and digital technologies.

Under the agreement between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea, a project is implemented aimed at enhancing human resource capacities in the tourism sector of Mongolia.
