AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sharifzoda Farrukh met with Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Matsumoto Hisashi in Tokyo on July 7, the Foreign Ministry reported.

The parties exchanged of views on a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in sectors of economics, trade, energy, transport, agriculture, water management, education and healthcare.

Particular attention was paid to enhancing cooperation in the preparation of important events within the framework of the Dialogue "Central Asia + Japan".

During the meeting, issues of favorable and mutually beneficial cooperation of the parties within the framework of international and regional organizations, in particular the UN and its structures, were also discussed.
