In 1977, he graduated from the Kyrgyz State University, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics.
On April 26, 2007, the prosecutor's office opened a criminal case on organizing mass riots that took place during an opposition rally on April 19. The opposition members were accused of organizing mass riots, punishable by Article 233 of the Criminal Code.
After that, in 2008-2010 he lived in the United States of America as a political refugee.
On November 10, 2010, he became a member of the 5th convocation of the Parliament from the socialist party Ata Meken.
In recent years, he was engaged in gardening.
