AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Education and Science, general education school No. 112, and Gandantegchinlen Monastery co-organized an online graduation ceremony for the monk students studying in India on July 18, Montsame reported.

Of the 317 monk students registered in the Educational Reintegration Program, 105 students graduated with a basic education, and 67 students with a complete secondary education. Monks studying in India and their teachers participated in the graduation ceremony online, and some students' parents and guardians received their educational certificates on their behalf.

As part of the education sector reform, the structure, organization, and curriculum of school No. 112 were comprehensively updated, enabling monk students studying in domestic and foreign monasteries to obtain basic and secondary education through online and educational reintegration programs.

A total of 145 students are to continue their studies in the 2025–2026 academic year.
