Mongolian Parliament Speaker to attend Sixth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament

AKIPRESS.COM - Speaker of the Parliament of Mongolia Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve will attend the Sixth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Geneva, Switzerland, from July 29 to July 31, Montsame reported.

The Parliament of Mongolia became a member of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in 1962 and has since regularly participated in the conference. Speakers of parliament from more than 180 countries, representatives of international organizations, researchers and civil society representatives will participate in the Sixth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament.

The Conference of Speakers of Parliament is a high-level meeting held every four years to strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation and expand parliamentary participation in addressing global challenges.

Speaker of the Parliament of Mongolia Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve will attend the conference and deliver a speech on the topic "World in Crisis: Parliamentary Cooperation and Multilateralism for Peace and Justice for All".

Speakers of parliaments from other countries will exchange views on issues such as democracy, peace, sustainable development and gender equality.
