AKIPRESS.COM - Chairman of the State National Security Committee (GKNB) Kamchybek Tashiev met with residents of Kyzyl-Oktyabr village in Uzgen district, Osh region.

According to him, in 2020, the national budget was around 250 billion soms. For 2025, the approved budget is 700 billion 50 million soms.

"At first, we thought we could increase it by 100 billion soms annually. But this year, with God's help and due to effective work, the budget will exceed 1 trillion soms next year. This is a sign of the strength of our state: the economy is working, the money is there, and, importantly, those who used to plunder the country's budget are gone," he said.

At the same time, Tashiev emphasized that the main task now is to efficiently allocate the increased funds for the benefit of the people. However, he noted that problems remain at the local level with the misuse, inefficient spending and even embezzlement of allocated funds.
