AKIPRESS.COM - The political consultations between Tajikistan and Pakistan was held in Dushanbe on September 29, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.

The delegation of Tajikistan was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Farrukh Sharifzoda, and the delegation of Pakistan was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Syed Asad Ali Gilani.

The sides discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, the implementation of high-level agreements, as well as pressing regional and international issues.

The parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership between Tajikistan and Pakistan.
