
AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of External Affairs of India Subrahmanyam Jaishankar paid a courtesy call on President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa during his state visit to India on October 13, Montsame reported.
Jaishankar congratulated President Khurelsukh on paying a state visit to India in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, emphasizing that the government and people of India attach great significance to this visit.
President Khurelsukh reaffirmed that Mongolia regards India as its third neighbor and a trusted partner in the Indo-Pacific region, expressing commitment to further expanding the scope of the strategic partnership and deepening bilateral cooperation on international and regional platforms.
The President highlighted the importance of revitalizing the activities of the Intergovernmental Commission and expressed appreciation to Minister Jaishankar, in his capacity as Co-Chair of the Indian side of the Commission, for his close cooperation in implementing major projects and programs between the two countries.
Minister Jaishankar briefed the President on the current and future projects and programs implemented within the framework of bilateral cooperation.
