Minister of Interior Niyazbekov congratulates police officers on professional holiday

AKIPRESS.COM - Interior Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ulan Niyazbekov congratulated law enforcement officers and veterans on Kyrgyz Police Day.

In his message, he praised the police for their service and dedication, noting that the force has entered a new stage of development. Niyazbekov highlighted major improvements – over 400 police buildings renovated or rebuilt, 90% of the vehicle fleet renewed, and more than 4,000 surveillance cameras installed nationwide, reducing crime by 69% in the past five years.

He also mentioned ongoing efforts to expand the "Safe Country" project, which will increase the number of cameras to 20,000, and programs providing housing to police families.

The Minister honored fallen officers and urged all police to uphold honor, humanity, and vigilance while continuing to serve the people.
